Senior Cost Manager

A dynamic leadership role is available for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to lead a team of professionals in delivering cost management services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and excellent leadership skills.
About the Role
- Leading pre- and post-contract cost management services, including cost planning, estimating, tender reviews, and value engineering exercises.
- Building strong client relationships and providing strategic commercial advice to drive business growth.
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal QA systems.
- Mentoring and developing quantity surveyors and cadets to achieve high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute cost management strategies that meet client expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks through proactive cost management.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a consultancy environment delivering cost management services.
- Professional membership with AIQS, RICS, or working toward chartership.
- Demonstrated leadership and commercial acumen with a proven track record of success.
