Key Role: Senior Cost Engineer

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Engineer to support our client's large-scale energy projects in a dynamic and evolving work environment. As a critical member of the project team, you will play a key role in cost management, forecasting, and budget control.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and project teams.
  • You will enhance and streamline cost control tools, processes, and procedures to ensure effective financial oversight.
  • A strong background in Quantity Surveying is highly regarded.
  • The successful candidate will be able to establish and enhance standards, procedures, and processes to improve overall project efficiency.
  • Experience in developing project budgets aligned with standardised structures is essential.
  • You will be responsible for producing accurate cost forecasts to support project management objectives.

About You:

  • Must have several years of experience in the cost control function within the Oil & Gas or related process industries.
  • A demonstrated expertise in cost control with fully developed technical competencies.
  • Strong understanding of estimating methodologies and practices.
  • Proficient in reviewing and refining estimates for changes in project scope or trends.
  • Thorough knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) requirements across all project phases.
