Role: Addiction Medicine Registrar

We are seeking a dedicated medical professional to join our multidisciplinary team in providing consultation/liaison support to emergency departments and inpatient units.

About the Position

This 12-month part-time fixed-term role requires working 43 hours per fortnight, commencing in February 2026. The successful candidate will have current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and hold MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications.

  • Eligible FRANZCP trainee
  • Possession of interest in completing training for Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry is desirable
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong commitment to high-quality care
  • Able to work effectively within diverse multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Key Responsibilities

The Addiction Medicine service offers a weekly outpatient clinic and an outreach service to the CBD, partnering with cohealth.
