Warehouse Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our warehouse team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing stock to packing and shipping orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking and packing of orders with precision and efficiency
  • Grading of product with attention to detail
  • Building of crates and packing materials with quality in mind
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Assisting in loading and unloading of containers safely and efficiently
  • Receiving and storing of incoming stock accurately
  • Preparing samples for quality control purposes
  • Performing other general warehouse duties as required
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Forklift License for safe operation
  • Driver's license for on-site transportation
  • Adequate numerical and written skills for accurate stock count
  • Physical fitness for occasional heavy lifting
  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to teamwork
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with timber and/or timber products for knowledge and expertise
  • Basic experience with power tools, including nail gun, drill, and circular saw
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in standard software such as MS Office
