Overview

Assist in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and all functions related to supporting these responsibilities while working effectively as a team member.

This position will begin through our local temp agency; however, it is a long-term opportunity with Pro-Cut, a subsidiary of Snap-on Equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders via UPS/FedEx/DHL/LTL.
  • Load and unload freight.
  • Bag and label bulk parts onto units.
  • Prepare and pack trolleys, accessory kits, and lathe packages.
  • Conduct cycle counts for inventory and ensure all items have part numbers identified on the packaging.
  • Receive physical shipments and restock shelves from backstock.
  • Maintain FIFO system for parts and lathes and work with the manager on the KANBAN system.

Qualifications
  • Ability to manipulate, handle, and feel with hands.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, reach within arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch; walking for 4+ hours per day, standing for 2.5 hours, and sitting for 2.5 hours.
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 55 pounds; over 55 pounds requires team or assisted lift.
  • Specific vision requirements include close and color vision.
  • Obtain and retain DOT card and lift truck certification.
