Construction Team Lead Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Team Lead to work with and lead our work crew on a construction project in Queensland.

Duties

  • Supervise subcontractor activity to ensure successful project delivery
  • Implement safe systems of works for all tasks
  • Carry out manual excavation operations
  • Level earth and road pavements to specified grades and tolerances
  • Mix and place concrete, ensuring it is level and finished to high standards
  • Complete quality check forms to ensure compliance
  • Inspect and verify material deliveries to site
  • Operate handheld tools such as shovels, rakes, crowbars, brooms, cold chisels etc.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a team lead or foreman, ideally on projects involving civil construction
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent
  • Current Driver's License
  • White Card
