Mental Health Clinician

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in a rural setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to consumers with severe and enduring mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Utilize your core mental health skills and knowledge to offer a quality and safe mental health service to consumers within a multidisciplinary context.
- Caseload Management: Coordinate an increasingly complex mental health caseload and support other team members in managing the demands of the service.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other agencies to ensure that consumers can access coordinated care appropriate to their needs.
- Professional Development: Contribute actively and constructively to consumer care planning by offering a discipline perspective and participate in regular team meetings and duty roster system for intake of referrals.
- Client Support: Allocate and coordinate the delivery of individual psychosocial support packages and contribute to the improvements in health outcomes by applying mental health care principles to the development and delivery of services to consumers.
- Qualifications: Completed recognized qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the AASW.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant Mental Health Field, working in rural/remote context.
- Clinical Skills: Demonstrated clinical skills and competency at AHP2 Level.
- Personal Qualities: Well-developed time-management, prioritization, adaptability, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team structure.
Cornerstone Medical Recruitment offers excellent casual rates paying up to $58-67p/h plus super (based on experience) and a dynamic work environment that values professional growth and development.
