This is a skilled professional position for an individual with expertise in health and medical matters. The successful candidate will provide proactive advice and assistance to operational personnel and management, facilitating return-to-work programs for employees.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance on injury, health and medical matters to operational teams and management, including the planning and implementation of proactive health strategies.
- Promote and facilitate early intervention measures to assist employees on health management plans and workers compensation.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for workplace injuries.
- Proven experience in workplace rehabilitation and injury management.
- Understanding of medical terminology and associated processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across multiple business levels and medical/allied health providers.
- Good knowledge of Queensland Workers Compensation Legislation.
This role is ideal for professionals with Allied Health Degrees or industry experience, particularly Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Nurses, and Exercise Physiologists.
