Base salary ranges between $5,081.10 and $5,516.60 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7).

About The Role
The North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) Nursing and Midwifery Professional Practice Unit (PPSU) supports and empowers nurses and midwives to develop their Professional Practice, personal and professional growth and supports the advancement of professional health education and training.
The PPSU provides strategic leadership for education and clinical practice development for nurses and midwives across the North West HHS.
The service utilises a continuous assessment model to meet education standard requirements and is responsive to evolving internal and external demands and practices determined by strategic health service priorities.
The Nurse Educator (NE) Remote Health is a member of the Professional Practice Support Unit and is responsible for providing advanced leadership in the provision of education programs and resources that build clinical and professional expertise and capability within the nursing and midwifery workforce in the North West HHS.
Requirements
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
A post graduate qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
The position may involve travel to various facilities or units within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
