About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to Alcohol and other Drugs services, Top End Health Region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all pharmacy services provided are of the highest ethical and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve medication management and reduce adverse events.
  • Medication Expertise: Provide medication therapy expertise to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Policies and Procedures: Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to pharmacy practice.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registration: Registration as a pharmacist in Australia is essential.
  • Postgraduate Qualification: A postgraduate qualification in pharmacy or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Clinical Experience: Experience in clinical pharmacy practice, preferably in a mental health setting, is necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
