This exciting opportunity is for a talented Chef to join our team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, where you will be part of a dedicated catering department. As a valued member of our team, you will have the chance to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for delivering outstanding results.

The role involves providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating cost-effectiveness, and acting as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team. You will also contribute to maintaining a positive team culture, supervising and guiding kitchen staff, and liaising with dieticians and other staff to create an experience that makes a difference.

Our ideal candidate has a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, a good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare nutritious food in a timely manner, ensuring the cleanliness of kitchens and food preparation.
  • Use produce effectively and manage waste to demonstrate cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, promoting a positive team culture and supervising kitchen staff.
  • liaise with dieticians and other staff to create an experience that makes a difference.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
