As an Airline Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe and on-time flight schedule operations. You'll work closely with our Integrated Operations Centre and frontline teams to coordinate all requirements for efficient RPT and Charter flight schedule operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinate all requirements to facilitate safe and efficient RPT and Charter flight schedule operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively and professionally communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Decision Making: Make strategic, well-planned and fact-based decisions under pressure.
  • Crisis Management: Execute adequate and appropriate response to OTP threats.
  • System Operations: Operate various operations and communication specific systems and associated processes.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate responses to medical/other emergencies, operational issues, schedule disruptions and disruption recovery.

As an Airline Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial and operational results while maintaining a critical focus on safety and ultimate customer experience outcomes.

  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of airline operations or similar operations control experience.

  • Social Skills: Strong social skills encompassing the ability to manage relationships, communicate effectively, and inspire and influence others.

  • Meticulous Attention: Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Can work a 24/7 rotating shift roster (including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays).
  • Eligibility: Legally able to live and work in Australia.
