Job OverviewAs a Catering Attendant, you will be an integral part of our operations, working across various areas to deliver exceptional dining experiences onboard flights. Your key responsibilities include food handling, plating meals, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Main Responsibilities:- Prepare and present meals according to presentation specifications.
- Stock airline carts with dry store items, including equipment, snacks, and beverages.
- Comply with food safety guidelines and maintain cleaning schedules.
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery.
- Remove perishable items from the kiosk, count, and record them.
- Replenish and record top-up stock items and final dispatch.
- Complete paperwork and data entry as per customer requirements.
- Maintain catering equipment cleanliness and readiness for dispatch.
- Gather information from airline systems to enable task completion.
- Apply safe manual handling techniques.
- Sound numerical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move, and lift items.
- Capacity to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
- Neat and tidy presentation.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene (desired).
- Basic knife skills (desired).
- Clear National Police Check requirement.
- Availability to work 38 hours/week.
