We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Certification Specialist to join our team at Dedicated Staffing Solutions. As a Building Surveying Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of building certifications and providing exceptional career opportunities in the building certification industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality building certifications functions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the legal obligations in the role and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Undertake efficient inspections to ensure client obligations are met and legislative compliance is maintained.
  • Develop and maintain a base knowledge of building and construction practices, building-related law, building codes, and standards.
  • Utilize intermediate computer literacy skills to effectively manage and analyze data.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a construction role or recent graduate certifier.

Qualifications and Licenses

  • Nearing completion or graduate of a Diploma of Building Surveying.
  • Ability to obtain membership with the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS).
  • Current driver's license.
  • White Card.

Interview Process

Initial interviews will be conducted via video conference, followed by face-to-face interviews. Only Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, and candidates with full-working rights in Australia are eligible to apply.
