About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit team at Bluefin Resources. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the governance and risk management framework of our organization.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in technology auditing, risk management, and leadership. You will be responsible for leading audit engagements, developing and implementing audit plans, and providing assurance to management on the effectiveness of risk controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audit engagements and develop audit plans to ensure effective risk management
  • Contribute to the development of the annual Audit Plan and ensure resource allocation aligns with the risk profile of business areas
  • Collaborate with senior technology management and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable control solutions that effectively manage risk
  • Provide high-quality audit reports and offer assurance to management on the effectiveness of risk controls
  • Work closely with colleagues across the global internal audit team, leveraging your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of key risk management frameworks, operational risk, compliance, and delivery risk
  • Extensive experience leading technology-focused audits and reviewing complex technology environments, ideally within large organizations
  • In-depth experience within the banking and financial services sector, specifically related to technology risk management
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced data analytics to assess and design audit controls
  • Proven ability to manage and lead concurrent audit teams and influence senior stakeholders across global teams, whilst also completing audit fieldwork
