Inventory Coordinator - Allocation Specialist
Job DescriptionThe role of Inventory Coordinator - Allocation Specialist involves coordinating the allocation and replenishment of merchandise to stores, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management. This role supports the achievement of sales, gross profit, and inventory productivity measures through effective allocation strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Allocating and Replenishing stock to stores
- Analysing sales trends and identifying opportunities and risks
- Managing store gradings/profiles
- Managing and analysing core line cards
- Proactively managing stores Stock On Hand (SOH); consolidating stock across the network to manage best sellers/markdown stock/fragmented lines
- Monitoring and managing receipts and deliveries into store and DC
- Monitoring and managing warehouse stock
- Previous allocation experience preferable
- Advanced excel skills
- Ability to understand data and analytics and make recommendations as a result
- A good understanding of merchandise inventory basics
- Ability to take a proactive approach and think strategically
- Strong understanding/experience of the retail industry and environment highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail including accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Highly Dynamic and adaptable work ethic
- Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
