We are seeking a skilled WHS Specialist to serve as a dedicated safety professional on site.

About the Role
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits to identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate incident investigation process to ensure thorough understanding of incidents.
  • Maintain required paperwork in accordance with Amazon regulations and local laws.
  • Enter Safety Incident Information into internal database promptly.
  • Perform regular safety observations & audits to promote a safe working environment.
  • Develop and provide training for others on safety responsibilities, including audits, following safety rules, and inspections.
  • Provide specific safety training as required by the WHS Manager.
  • Assist with additional safety-related activities such as fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other tasks assigned by the business unit and location.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to implement process improvements and manage actions to completion.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills to build trust and confidence with the team, inspiring change through comprehensive risk assessments and data analysis.

About You
  • You have experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of WHS principles and practices.
  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct thorough audits and investigations.
  • You have effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the Operations Team.
  • You are proactive and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • You hold relevant qualifications in a field such as occupational health and safety or a related discipline.
