This is a unique opportunity to lead an innovative wellbeing program in a supportive healthcare environment, offering flexible part-time hours and clinical autonomy within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. The selected candidate will provide strategic oversight and leadership to our inpatient services, supporting the delivery of high-quality trauma-informed care.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA Clinical endorsement and also a Clinical Board-approved supervisor with a strong understanding of evidence-based interventions suited to comorbidity.

Key qualities include proven leadership skills, ability to mentor a clinical team, excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, and desirable training in Schema Therapy, DBT, and/or EMDR.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective wellbeing programs for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Provide clinical supervision, support, and consultation to clinical staff
  • Conduct thorough assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care
