Technical Assurance Manager

This role focuses on ICT operations, ensuring the effective delivery of support to the Warfighter and the D-ICT ecosystem.

Mitigating disruption, impact to services, and resolving issues within contractual agreements for compliance and technical assurance is crucial.

The successful candidate will work closely with other Service Assurance Managers, collaborating with resources within an Industry Partner workforce as part of a Work Package construct.

About the Team

The J6 Operations Support Branch operates under the Cyber Operations Division within Joint Capabilities Group.

The mission of D-ICT is to deliver integrated Deployed ICT Services to enable the ADF to prevail in their warfighting mission.

D-ICT is a hybrid Systems Program Office and Information Technology Service Management organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with ADF Communicators to provide sustainable IT services.
  • Providing an escalation channel and prioritization for ADF Communicators and Industry Partners.
  • Enabling Cross Functional Management teams through procedural oversight and direction.
  • Performing Technical Change Approval Boards (TCAB).
  • Substantiating technical Risk Assessments.
  • Advocating for minimising adverse technical impacts to the Warfighter.
  • Evaluating Problems and system defects continually.
