About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Marketing Director to spearhead our digital marketing program. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a team and drive business outcomes through innovative digital strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Contribute to the development of strategic direction and ongoing optimization of digital marketing initiatives.
  2. Drive best practice innovation through strategic use of digital and social marketing channels, data, technology, and analytics.
  3. Delivery and implementation of effective digital marketing solutions to contribute to customer and financial objectives.
  4. Identify opportunities to test and learn to drive marketing effectiveness of existing and new digital marketing programs.
  5. Work closely with the Media Agency to evolve the always-on digital marketing program and ensure activity delivers outcomes for the business.
  6. Utilize Marketing & Analytic platforms to share regular reporting and insights to the business.
  7. Manage digital media budgets and ensure ROI.
  8. Define and develop ongoing new strategic initiatives for the Digital Marketing program.
  9. Lead a team to execute key digital marketing performance activities.
  10. Maximise ROI of digital marketing programs and focus on continual improvement.
  11. Lead the sharing of insights and experience to relevant workgroups and stakeholders on best-practice digital marketing programs.

You'll Need:

  • Tertiary degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Experience in a Digital Marketing environment.
  • Expertise in managing and implementing digital performance media programs (SEM, Display, Affiliates, Social).
  • Experience with optimising and utilising Google platforms such as Analytics 360, SA & Data studio or equivalent and Adobe Analytics.
  • Agency/Consultancy based experience is advantageous and sound knowledge of the workings of media and creative agencies.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and set clear direction and goals, and initiate and manage change.
  • Knowledge of Marketing automation technology.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities.
  • Ability to predict future trends and developments in digital marketing.
  • Expertise in defining digital analytics, managing attribution, and data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Ability communicating complex and detailed information simply and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and embracing 'Test and learn' ethos.
  • Expertise in managing budgets and financials.
  • Highly effective communication and consulting skills.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills.
