About The Role

The Sales & Warehouse Operator role is a full-time position based at our Thurgoona location in NSW.

You will report to the Store Manager and join our Gyprock Trade Centre team to deliver exceptional customer service and attain operational excellence within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all customers in store and in the warehouse.
  • Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
  • Serve customers in the warehouse part of the store, loading vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
  • Ensure documentation, labeling, and presentation of product are adhered to.
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts, and general housekeeping.
  • Contribute to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
Requirements:
  • Possess a strong work ethic.
  • Approach, connect, and confidently interact with customers.
  • Have an eagerness to learn about products and services.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Forklift license desirable or willingness to obtain one.
