Sales & Warehouse Operator (Gyprock) – Thurgoona, NSW

Full-time role based at Thurgoona, NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

What You Will Do
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all customers in store and in the warehouse.
  • Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
  • Serve customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
  • Ensure documentation, labeling and presentation of product is adhered to.
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
  • Contribute to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm.

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to connect with customers.
  • Willingness to learn about products and services.
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • Confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Forklift licence is desirable or willing to obtain one.
