**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Coordinator to join our Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) team. As a Group Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and delivering therapy programs for consumers with complex and severe mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver individual or group therapeutic programs in CYMHS for consumers with complex and severe mental health needs.
  • Deliver and coordinate training to clinicians across West Moreton and Hospital and Health Service in different therapeutic modalities.
  • Specialised coordination of the Adolescent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT-A) program including clinical coordination, group facilitation, evaluation, quality improvement and staff education or training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered nurse with expertise in therapeutic group delivery.
  • Advanced level practitioner with recognised expertise in Adolescent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT-A).
  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
