
Culturally Responsive Financial Specialist

As a skilled financial expert, you will play a vital role in supporting culturally diverse communities in NSW affected by gambling-related harm.
Working closely with clients from CALD backgrounds, you will provide tailored financial counselling, advocacy, and budgeting support to help them manage debt and improve their financial literacy.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to deliver culturally responsive counselling services via face-to-face, phone, and online platforms.
You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement financial management education programs for CALD communities, working collaboratively with service providers and advocating with financial institutions as needed.
This role is based at Cumberland Hospital in North Parramatta, offering easy access to public transport and generous leave conditions as per NSW Health (State) awards.
As part of Western Sydney Local Health District, you will be working within a large mental health facility, contributing to the delivery of tertiary care to the Greater Western Region.
