Senior Estimator/Associate Director Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator/Associate Director to join our Brisbane Infrastructure team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the estimating team across various infrastructure projects, including aviation, rail, roads, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cost estimates from drawings and specifications
  • Lead the estimating team across a variety of infrastructure projects
  • Conduct estimate assurance reviews and associate report writing
  • Grow and develop exceptional people for your team
  • Display excellence in service delivery leadership
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Relevant tertiary education preferred
  • Full working rights and current residence in Australia
  • A recognized degree qualification in quantity surveying, construction economics, engineering, or similar
  • Infrastructure experience, particularly in aviation, rail, road, or utilities
  • A track record of engaging and influencing clients at a senior level
  • Clear understanding of and ability to implement strategy for growth, relevant to the local market context
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
