About the Specialised Caregiver Role

In this key position, you'll deliver essential and practical support to enable older individuals to maintain their independence in their own homes and enhance their overall quality of life.

The role involves regular travel to clients' residences using your personal vehicle, for which you'll receive $0.99 per kilometre plus paid time.

  • Providing personal care assistance - helping with bathing and dressing
  • Offering help around the home - meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication administration
About You
  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are patient and solutions-focused.
  • You may have prior experience in aged or community care, or be looking to commence your career in aged care.
  • You hold a valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum third-party property insurance).
  • Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and wish to become so, we can provide training.
  • You'll need to be flexible when meeting the changing needs of our home care clients.
