Delivering Care in a Mental Health Inpatient Setting
About the RoleThis position offers an opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises in an inpatient setting. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered nursing care, utilising best practice evidence and effective communication skills
- Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated competencies in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualised care
- Capacity to prioritise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability
