We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Mental Health Nursing Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a powerful impact on patients' mental health journeys in an inpatient setting.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide critical care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, working closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver person-centered nursing care.
You will also have the opportunity to supervise and support less experienced clinicians, achieving high-quality people-focused care.
About the Role- Deliver best practice evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide supervision and support for less experienced clinicians.
- Ensure effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills.
- Apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care with a commitment to quality improvement.
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
- This position qualifies for the NSW Health Rural Incentive Scheme with a value of up to $5,000.
