Key Position: Lead Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to lead our engineering team in the design, development, and production of advanced opto-mechanical products.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee the development and implementation of mechanical systems across all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers and technicians to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience.
- Proven leadership experience in engineering teams with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in R&D, design, validation, and production environments.
- Previous experience in Defence, Space, or start-up environments is highly regarded.
- Eligible for an Australian Defence Security Clearance (must be an Australian Citizen).
