Job Title: Deputy Manager Clinical

A seasoned healthcare professional is sought to assume the role of Deputy Manager Clinical, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a care facility. As a key member of the management team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the service and supporting the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To collaborate with the Registered Manager in managing the home, guaranteeing that all aspects of the service are delivered in line with company policies and procedures.
  • To develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, residents, and families to promote a positive and supportive environment.
  • To identify and manage risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.
  • To participate in recruitment, induction, and training processes to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are person-centered and meet the individual needs of residents.
  • To monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • To work closely with other departments, such as HR and finance, to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, nursing, or healthcare.
  • Proven experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a deputy manager or senior role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
