**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Newcastle as a Contractor. This role is an integral part of our close-knit team, working with and supporting individuals who have sustained psychological or physical injuries at work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment evaluations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and return to work, prioritizing clients' best interests.
  • Develop targeted intervention strategies to enhance life independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance.
  • Familiarize yourself with various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A willingness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license compulsory).
  • Full registration with AHPRA.
  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Exceptional communication skills and commitment to delivering on promises.
