Senior Planning Professional

The role of a Senior Planning Professional is to manage and coordinate planning approvals for complex projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead project teams to achieve project objectives
  • Deliver high-quality planning analysis and research, leveraging commercial expertise to drive business outcomes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews and provide mentoring support to junior staff members
  • Liaise with clients, councils, consultants, and other government agencies to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Town Planning or equivalent field
  • Proven track record of delivering client outcomes, with experience in renewable energy sectors highly regarded
  • Experience in preparing and delivering Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for State Significant Development (SSD) and/or Infrastructure Applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating and managing multidisciplinary projects, with a strong understanding of project budgets and deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
  • Ability to take the initiative and implement new ideas in a fast-paced environment
