Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail and Civil Lead to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our global rail team, you will be responsible for providing consultancy services, engineering expertise, and technical direction in the ANZ region.

The successful candidate will work closely with Principal Engineers to deliver projects, manage design, and oversee project management. You will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading consultancy services and engineering expertise in the ANZ region
  • Providing technical direction and input in design
  • Collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders
  • Managing project delivery, design management, and project management
  • Supporting team development and growth, building design capability, and growing the works portfolio

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience working on multidisciplinary transport and general civils infrastructure projects, with medium and high complexity, with a preference for rail industry experience
  • Significant knowledge and breadth of civil engineering aspects in transport engineering concepts and tasks
  • Strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external Jacobs
