Wildlife Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Management Officer in the beautiful Grampians region.

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of $35,050 to $37,070 per year, plus superannuation benefits.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for investigating complex matters related to domestic animals, including dog attacks and illegal breeding. You will also respond to customer requests, investigate offences under local laws, and promote compliance with regulations.

Additional responsibilities include providing animal management services, containing loose dogs, ensuring safety on roads, and promoting responsible pet ownership. You will also engage with the community and participate in education and outreach programs.

This is a full-time position that requires working independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
