Job Opportunity

The position involves leading the commercialisation of research, driving new collaboration and partnership opportunities, and managing existing agreements with various stakeholders.

  • Negotiate intellectual property licensing and other commercial agreements with external entities in conjunction with internal teams.
  • Develop and implement business plans under guidance from senior leaders.
  • Establish new partnerships and initiatives aligned with the institute's strategic plan.
  • Design and deliver presentations to potential partners, including industry groups.
  • Create and promote seminars on business development areas.
  • Build relationships with academic organisations, funding agencies, and government bodies.
Key Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Tertiary qualification in life sciences or equivalent, ideally with experience in commercialisation or translational research.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to develop productive relationships leading to commercial success.
