Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an After Hours Nurse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing staffing methodologies, recruitment, and human resource management, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide after-hours oversight across a rotating 7-day roster, managing staff allocation and operational aspects of patient care.
- Accept accountability for nursing management practices within your designated span of control, addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy.
- Coordinate projects and initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and patient outcomes in a supportive and dynamic environment.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong leadership background. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registration or eligibility with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts while promoting a positive workplace environment.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience in nursing/midwifery, demonstrating competence in relevant practices and management roles.
- Knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and contemporary health issues, along with a willingness to obtain a Certificate in Advanced Life Support 1 (ALS1).
