Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Assessment Officer. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Queensland’s building standards and ensuring fair outcomes for consumers and industry participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legislative Expertise: Apply, interpret and provide higher-level advice on legislation and policies that impact the built environment.
  • Matter Investigation: Assess and investigate complaints about defective building work and claims made under the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.
  • Representation: Represent our organization in promotional and educational activities, hearings before the tribunal and courts as required.
