Community Development Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Community Development Coordinator to contribute to the delivery of community programs and events across our region.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development, delivery, and evaluation of community initiatives and events. This will involve effective staff management, stakeholder engagement, collaboration with internal teams, and preparation of high-quality reports and presentations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of community development principles and practices, with experience in event management, project planning, and staff supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver community programs and events that meet the needs of our community
- Manage the development, delivery, and evaluation of community initiatives and events
- Provide effective staff management and supervision
- Engage with key stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams
- Prepare high-quality reports and presentations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in community development, event management, or related field
- Proven ability to plan, promote, deliver, and evaluate community projects and events
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong staff management experience with a proven ability to lead, support, and develop a diverse team
