Job Description">Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Migration Quality Assurance Specialist to join our data migration team. This senior role involves ensuring the quality of data migration and reconciliation processes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and automated testing, with a strong background in leading complex testing projects. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, and SQL is essential.
The successful candidate will also have hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, data profiling tools, and test automation frameworks, as well as familiarity with data reconciliation techniques and knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills are necessary for this role, which requires collaboration with a cross-functional team and contribution to sprint planning and estimation.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in the superannuation industry or a similar financial sector to minimize the learning curve and quickly contribute to the team.
">Key Responsibilities:">- Quality assurance of solutions developed in a data migration team
- Plan, prepare, execute, and report quality assurance using superannuation registry systems and SQL tools
- Analyze test requirements, design, and prepare manual and automated test scenarios and scripts that provide comprehensive coverage of given requirements
- Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements
- Build complex SQL queries to build automation scripts for data migration and reconciliation requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
- Triage and retest defects raised outside data migration team
- Plan and execute go-live data migration testing and reconciliation activities
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, and SQL
- Strong working experience in large-scale data migration and reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, data profiling tools, and test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with data reconciliation techniques and knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
