Job Title: Global Cyber Security Leader

This is a senior role that requires the ability to lead and manage global cyber security incident response activities with high visibility, including interaction with executive leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and guiding associates, maintaining a strong investigative mindset, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish oversight of information security events and communicate analysis, containment and remediation efforts to all business partners.
  • Maintain cyber incident response and recovery plans; ensure timely management escalation with risk and action information.
  • Provide status updates and post-incident findings for executives and stakeholders in non-technical terms, covering risk, impact, likelihood, containment and remediation activities, and threat actors.
  • Brief and recommend actions to executive leadership within Global Information Security and other business partners regarding events and incidents.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience handling information security events and incidents.
  • Experience in an operations-focused role with emphasis on cyber incident response.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating containment activities related to cyber security incidents.
  • Familiarity with security vulnerabilities, exploits, and APT tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with network security vulnerabilities, exploits, malware, and digital forensics desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt to the audience.
  • Decisive with the ability to make difficult decisions in high-pressure environments.
  • Independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and act without undue delay.
  • Team player who can also work independently; calm under pressure; resilient; urgent when needed.
  • Willingness to think outside the box and develop solutions while remaining risk-and-objective focused with an investigative mindset.
  • Security+ or equivalent certification.
  • GCIH or equivalent certification required within six months of employment.
