Production Supervisor Job Summary

This is a senior production role that requires leadership skills and experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to drive production efficiency, lead and develop team performance, and ensure operational excellence through real-time shift management and proactive problem-solving.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive production efficiency by meeting KPIs and targets and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Lead and develop team performance, including coaching staff and managing labor resources.
  • Ensure operational excellence through real-time shift management and proactive problem-solving.
  • Maintain a safe and productive environment by managing attendance and investigating incidents.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by motivating the team and supporting improvement projects.
  • Support production changes and trials by assisting with engineering modifications and pilot builds.

Requirements:

  • Certificate 4 in Front-Line Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional accreditation with an industry-related body.
  • Full understanding of health and safety and quality requirements.
  • Work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Manufacturing Proficiency: Knowledge of lean principles and 5S methodology.
