About the Role

This is a mid-senior level Health Care Provider position within Hospitals and Health Care industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence by supporting the development and enhancement of clinical skills among nursing staff.

Key responsibilities include working in close collaboration with Nursing Unit Managers to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate clinical education and staff development initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
  • Demonstrated previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  • Relevant clinical/education post registration qualification
  • Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel
