The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a suitably qualified Psychiatrist to join our Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of mental health services in Tasmania.
As a Psychiatrist with the SMHS, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive general inpatient and community psychiatric services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health disorders.

The salary for this position is $210,000 - $301,349 per annum, plus 11% superannuation contribution. This is a permanent full-time position, with a day worker schedule of 76 hours per fortnight.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty. You will also need to meet the essential criteria outlined in the Statement of Duties.
