About the Opportunity

The University of Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Tasmanian Centre for Mental Health Service Innovation (TCMHSI). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative mental health services in Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the TCMHSI's strategic objectives and operational responsibilities.
  • Undertake high-quality research in mental health, with a focus on youth mental health.
  • Design and implement projects to leverage existing data sources and identify key factors contributing to effective strategies for youth mental health.
  • Develop and maintain productive links with the University, local and national communities, and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant research field.
  • A good record of research with national recognition and contributions to mental health research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated mentoring and supervisory skills.
What We Offer

Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level A, with a total remuneration package of up to $121,737, comprising base salary and superannuation.
