Key Associate Director Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead our Acoustics team in Adelaide.

This is a key member of our growth strategy where you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects where noise is a critical consideration.

  • Lead the growth of our Acoustics team in South Australia, working closely with the National EMM acoustics team.
  • Act as Project Director or Project Manager, overseeing successful project delivery, including schedule tracking, and outcome evaluation.
  • Identify opportunities to work with existing clients and broader markets, leveraging your industry knowledge and local network.
  • Access leading noise modeling packages, hardware for noise monitoring projects, and in-house software engineering capability.
  • Enjoy the autonomy, flexibility, and support needed to balance all aspects of your life while delivering exceptional quality results.
Requirements
  • A science or engineering tertiary qualification is essential, with membership in the Australian Acoustical Society advantageous.
  • Deep understanding of the South Australian market and ability to identify opportunities within key markets: renewable energy, mining, and/or transport infrastructure.
  • Strong desire and passion for developing others and supporting their professional growth.
  • Proven acoustics experience gained within a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in and/or experience with noise modeling packages such as SoundPlan, CadnaA, and iNoise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Respect, integrity, and humility - listening and understanding others' views to create opportunities for all.
