Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer sought to join Firesoft People on a full-time basis. Key Points:

The Role:

Firesoft People has built a cutting-edge in-house platform, which requires an experienced SRE to contribute to a combination of hands-on engineering, as well as evangelism and teaching within the wider engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on their platform which is largely powered by event-driven microservices, the majority of which runs on Linux containers.
  • Deploy to production multiple times a day via automated pipelines and continuously deploy workloads.
  • Utilise modern patterns, and tooling, whilst consistently improving.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer in a senior capacity
  • Very strong skills with AWS cloud services & Kubernetes
  • Software engineering background, ideally in C#, .Net or Node
  • CI/CD tools experience with GitHub, Buildkite and Octopus Deploy
  • Infrastructure as Code knowledge of Terraform
  • Scripting & Automation skills with Bash, PowerShell or Python
