Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pre-Construction Project Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This pivotal role ensures solar and BESS projects are technically and logistically ready for seamless handover to construction.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating all technical and regulatory early works activities to ensure site and grid readiness.
- Leading stakeholder engagement with clients, suppliers, utilities, councils, landowners, and internal teams.
- Managing permitting, planning approvals, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Overseeing geotechnical studies, surveys, and temporary site works.
- Supporting early procurement, subcontractor engagement, and site mobilisation.
- Identifying project risks and maintaining compliance with WHS and environmental standards
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy projects that shape Australia's clean energy future. As a Pre-Construction Project Manager, you will influence project outcomes from pre-construction through to execution, with visibility across the full project lifecycle.
You will thrive in dynamic environments, confidently manage competing priorities, and take full ownership of outcomes—while knowing when to engage collaboratively for clarity and alignment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- 5–7 years' experience in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure project management (desirable).
- Strong understanding of utility-scale solar development and grid connection in Australia.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- Excellent stakeholder, commercial, and project planning skills.
- Familiarity with AEMO and network service provider processes (desirable)
- Leadership Opportunity: Play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects that shape Australia's clean energy future.
- Strategic Impact: Influence project outcomes from pre-construction through to execution, with visibility across the full project lifecycle.
