
Operations and Port Planning Development Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Operations and Port Planning Graduate.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working closely with industry experts to gain hands-on experience across key operational areas including inventory, logistics, quality, and fumigation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Systems Training: Develop expertise in SIMS stock management, stocktakes, waste grain processes, and inventory reporting.
- Operations & Logistics Exposure: Gain practical experience in plant operations, shipping, grain handling, and road and rail logistics.
- Planning & Scheduling: Assist with production planning, rail scheduling, container packing updates, and daily coordination tasks.
- Quality, Food Safety & Compliance: Undergo training in grain classification, food safety systems, and support quality investigations and audits.
- Customer & Commercial Understanding: Learn how customer orders are managed through direct exposure to customer service and order fulfillment processes.
- Cross-Site & Support Experience: Rotate across multiple sites, provide leave cover, and support a range of operational and administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A degree in agricultural science or other relevant discipline in the last 12 months.
- Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
