Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Operations and Port Planning Graduate.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working closely with industry experts to gain hands-on experience across key operational areas including inventory, logistics, quality, and fumigation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory & Systems Training: Develop expertise in SIMS stock management, stocktakes, waste grain processes, and inventory reporting.
  • Operations & Logistics Exposure: Gain practical experience in plant operations, shipping, grain handling, and road and rail logistics.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Assist with production planning, rail scheduling, container packing updates, and daily coordination tasks.
  • Quality, Food Safety & Compliance: Undergo training in grain classification, food safety systems, and support quality investigations and audits.
  • Customer & Commercial Understanding: Learn how customer orders are managed through direct exposure to customer service and order fulfillment processes.
  • Cross-Site & Support Experience: Rotate across multiple sites, provide leave cover, and support a range of operational and administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in agricultural science or other relevant discipline in the last 12 months.
  • Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
