About The Opportunity
Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to provide comprehensive services for individuals who have experienced sexual assault. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering one-to-one and group work services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy.
The successful candidate will undertake research and projects, develop and deliver education and training programs, and provide referral information and support to individuals accessing counseling and other services.
Liaising with stakeholders and authorities is also a key aspect of this role.
About You
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work;
- Demonstrated experience in crisis and trauma situations;
- Demonstrated capacity to undertake risk assessments and develop safety plans;
- Demonstrated experience in long-term counseling, group work, and community development;
