Job Opportunity: Restaurant Supervisor

About the Role
  • Manage staff effectively and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist in financial management, menu development, inventory control, health and safety, and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer business phone calls during the day and make reservations
  • Collaborate with the manager and management team to achieve revenue objectives
  • Implement company policies and procedures
  • Deliver exceptional service to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain the restaurant's good image
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Ensure daily opening and closing routines are followed
  • Monitor food and beverage quality
  • Inspect received products from suppliers and report any issues
  • Coordinate Front of House and Back of House operations
  • Respond efficiently to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Control operational costs and identify waste reduction measures
  • Promote the brand through word-of-mouth and local events
Requirements
  • Previous work experience as a Café or Restaurant Supervisor/Manager
  • Current NSW Liquor and Gaming Licence preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; Bilingual Language preferred
  • Positive attitude, impeccable presentation, and attention to detail
  • Lover of food, dining out, and providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Sushi-making skills preferred
